Homesick
It’s hard sometimes to figure out why you’re sick: the rocking ferry, graduation date coming at a rapid pace, or figuring out what or where is home for me.  It was weird to leave my roommates for 3 weeks, some I may not see ever again. When I come back, I may have a whole new set of roommates to live with during the rest of summer.  I leave letters & a beer for the remaining...

Tired Thoughts
Heavy lids make it difficult to study a foreign language that I already speak fluently. The ticking moments of the linear clock, tocks away at my time to learn and understand. I let my head rest upon the leather couch, positioning my self to sleep. Alas, of course, my education scratches at me, like a needy cat wanting to be petted by its owner. Lays around, in silent; a study buddy. I give it a...

In My Sky At Twilight
In my sky at twilight you are like a cloud and your form and color are the way I love them. You are mine, mine, woman with sweet lips and in your life my infinite dreams live. The lamp of my soul dyes your feet, the sour wine is sweeter on your lips, oh reaper of my evening song, how solitary dreams believe you to be mine! You are mine, mine, I go shouting it to the afternoon’s wind, and the wind...

Mother Goose
My Roommates from second year gave me a nickname: Mom. Now my new roommates are starting to realize my motherly ways. It must be all the cleaning I do around the house, especially when a roommate texts me about a misplaced object (to which I already know the answer). I also know everything that goes around the house, but not because I’m a busy body (but I know I’m in denial). A second...

Travels
Driving down the winding road at night, My roommate and I take the car for a joyride.  Not in the sense of stealing, or without permission, but rather enjoying each others’ company when the other 2 roommates are venturing on dates and shenanigans.  We’re just both coping with long distance from loved ones.

Date
My roommate Marianne is currently on a date with a wonderful gentlemen.  Like any gentlemen, he knocked on the door. Stern, but gentle. I open the door, and he is ready for a date.  Like any gentlemen, he greets me with hello, along with some wit & laughter as he patiently waits for his date to be ready.  Like any gentlemen, he hands her flowers. Ecstatic & all, a wonderful hug is given...

level 100 year english - in review
two hours away from my English135 exam - this will be my final English requirement I will ever have to take in my academic career. I am not only ecstatic that it has finally come to an end, but I will miss the professor.  Kissoon showed me the ropes to how to read and write all over again; it was a humbling experience. I was not the only non-first year in the class, but now that I reflect upon...

A, B, C, D, or all of the Above
Life gives you a set of choices in which we  all have to make. There are many routes that can take you on different endeavors and through all walks of life. The need to categorize things, we  see sometimes see it in black or white. But I think we forget that everything can be collapsible to mutually occurring events. Sure, we’re laid down with A, B, C, or D, but we always forget we can...

Pierly/Redford Dissociative Affect Diagnostic →
You need to help others and to be thought of as a generous and kind individual. Often you are taken advantage of and regarded as simply part of the scenery. You work best when handling the work yourself; you do not appreciate a managerial role and tend to be uncomfortable in that position. Friendship is important to you, but it is generated on a personal basis, rarely a professional one....

Gentlemen at table 5
There are three girls and it’s date night. they sit in a restaurant with the view of the bay on their left side, and a view of three gentlemen the right side. Something about their aura and composure that makes the eyes wander over to their table.  Was it their put-together demeanor?  Their relaxed after dinner manners that were polite and kind?  it’s hard to say what it was, none...

Sounds in Nature
kerchunks and pings make a wonderful melody when it hits the aluminum window frames of the library. It is like a xylophone player is on Amphetamine.
